A saint for Georgians who converted our religion into Christianity. Georgian Kings were paying great attention to the Bodbe Monastery. It has been repaired and restored many times. Besided it’s history the area itself is very beautiful.

After the nunnery visit we drive to the direction of Sighnaghi – City of Love

Sighnaghi, a town in Kakheti is 75 km east from Tbilisi. Although it is one of Georgia's smallest towns, which serves as a popular tourist destination due to its location at the heart of Georgia's wine-growing region, its picturesque landscapes, pastel houses with wooden fretwork balconies, and narrow, cobblestone streets.

There are various number of wineries in Kakheti as the region is very developed as a wine producer, so as per preferences one of the wineries may be chosen to visit among them and put the visit to be on the way of the tour.

After Sighnaghi we drive to the direction of Tsinandali Estate. Prince Alexander Chavchavadze, the founder of the Georgian romanticism turned the estate in the village of Tsinandali, which he inherited from his father into cultural and intellectual center of the country, the status it preserves to this day. The place regularly hosts exhibitions, concerts, literary events and master classes.

The complex in Tsinandali embraces the memorial house, a landscape garden, a historical winery, wine cellar, hotel and a café. The vineyards have been restored and wine production has resumed.

The landscape garden in Tsinandali is the first European-type recreation zone in Georgia. The garden is unique for its exotic plants and layout. In it, there is “the love lane”.

It was in the Tsinandali winery that the wine was first bottled in Georgia. Al. Chavchavadze’s collection of vintage wines consists of over 15 000 bottles, with the oldest dated with 1814.

We may have dinner in Telavi and drive back to Tbilisi via Gombori mountain pass, which offers spectacular scenery on the way and also shortens the road.
